One Direction Bakal Manggung di Upacara Penutupan Olimpiade 2012?

WowKeren.com - Berlangsungnya ajang Olimpiade 2012 di London, Inggris, tidak hanya membuat orang-orang penasaran siapa yang akan membawa pulang medali-medali, tapi juga siapa artis yang akan mengisi panggung untuk upacara penutupan pada 12 Agustus depan nanti. Kabarnya, boyband One Direction diundang untuk ikut tampil di penutupan Olimpiade nanti.

Seperti yang dilansir Daily Mirror, kelima pemuda itu dikabarkan akan manggung sebagai salah satu artis penampil di sana. Namun hingga saat ini juru bicara One Direction belum mau berkomentar banyak mengenai hal itu. Jika manggung di penutupan Oli

"Aku diberitahu tidak boleh menceritakannya kepada siapapun," kata Sheeran saat diwawancara MTV News di New York beberapa waktu lalu. "Upacara penutupan, ada gosip yang mengatakan aku akan manggung di sana. Gosip ini bisa benar, bisa tidak."

Selain Sheeran dan One Direction, para artis penampil lainnya yang dikabarkan sudah setuju tampil adalah The Who, Take That dan Spice Girls. "Tema utama penutupan Olimpiade akan dimeriahkan oleh musisi terbaik Inggris, jadi sudah benar jika One Direction membuka acara itu," kata seorang sumber. "Mereka adalah musik terbesar Inggris di Amerika selain Adele (yang juga digosipkan akan tampil). Semua ini masih rahasia dan mereka tidak boleh mengatakannya, tapi mereka sangat senang sekali." LONDON, KOMPAS.com -- Boyband asal Inggris One Direction sepertinya semakin menancapkan kuku di industri musik di Amerika Serikat setelah masuk dalam nominasi MTV Video Music Awards 2012.

Setelah album debut mereka, Up All Night, laris manis di pasaran AS, boyband jebolan ajang The X-Factor Inggris ini dinominasikan dalam kategori artis pendatang baru terbaik dan video pop terbaik.

Chris Brown Sebut 'Fortune' Sebagai Album Terakhirnya

WowKeren.com - Chris Brown mengungkapkan hal mengejutkan ketika ia menerima penghargaan Best Male R&B Artist di BET Awards 2012, The Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, Minggu (1/7). Mantan kekasih Rihanna itu tiba-tiba mengaku kalau "Fortune" adalah album terakhirnya.

"Aku ingin berterima kasih pada Tim Breezy dan semua orang yang bekerja di salah satu albumku," ujarnya. "Album terakhirku 'Fortune' akan dirilis 2 hari lagi. Aku hanya ingin berterima kasih pada semua fansku. Album itu aku persembahkan untuk kalian."

Sejauh ini belum jelas alasan Chris menyebut "Fortune" sebagai album terakhirnya. Namun beredar rumor kalau ia tertekan dan ingin rehat sejenak usai berseteru fisik dengan Drake, Kamis (14/6) di klub malam W.I.P, New York. Sementara itu di BET Awards 2012, Chris juga meraih penghargaan lainnya yakni Video Director of the Year dan Coca-Cola Viewer's Choice untuk "Turn Up the Music".

Menurut rencana, "Fortune" akan dirilis perdana, Selasa (3/7). Di album kelima itu, Chris menghadirkan single andalan seperti "Turn Up the Music", "Sweet Love", "Till I Die" dan "Don't Wake Me Up".

Menurut sumber, penyanyi pop remaja itu memang sempat berpikir untuk mengakhiri hubungannya dengan mantan bintang Disney itu. Bieber merasa bisa mendapatkan gadis lain yang dia inginkan.

Laporan terbaru yang diberitakan Us Weekly juga menyatakan hubungan asmara Justin Bieber dan Selena Gomez sedang mengalami masa sulit. Known as the "King of Pop", Jackson sold more than seven hundred fifty million albums over his career. Michael Jackson redefined popular culture with his energetic music, dance moves and revolutionary music videos. But Jackson's huge success as a performer was not always easy. He was a complex individual with an often troubled private life.

FAITH LAPIDUS: That was a song that hardly needs an introduction. "Billie Jean" first came out on the nineteen eighty-two hit album "Thriller." The Guinness World Records lists that record as the best-selling album of all time. Other famous songs on the album include "Thriller", "Beat It" and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

The album "Thriller" was as much about moves as it was about music. Michael Jackson brought attention to his body's movements by wearing a shiny white glove, shortened black pants and white socks. He created dance movements that were electrifying. He could be as hard as a robot, or as smooth as liquid. While doing his famous "Moonwalk" step, he seemed to be walking backwards on air.

(MUSIC: "I Want You Back") BOB DOUGHTY: Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana in nineteen fifty-eight. He was the seventh of nine children. He was five years old when he began singing with his brothers in a group called the Jackson 5. In nineteen sixty-eight the group signed a recording deal from Motown Records. Michael was eleven years old when they released their first album a year later. The Jackson 5 became an immediate success. Their music set records. Their first four songs were "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There." They all reached the number one position in pop music record sales in nineteen seventy.

FAITH LAPIDUS: Michael was the star of the group. He was the lead singer and danced with great energy. His extraordinary skill and presence on stage was remarkable, especially for someone so young. The group made youthful and fun music that was very popular with both African-Americans and white listeners.

In the nineteen seventies, the group changed record companies and shortened their name to the Jacksons. They continued to perform together, although Michael Jackson started to record music on his own as well. His first album performing alone was "Off the Wall," released in nineteen seventy-nine.

BOB DOUGHTY: Three years later, Jackson released "Thriller." The album was not just the best selling album of all time. It also won eight Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards. And it helped establish the popularity of a new form of entertainment, music videos. (MUSIC: "Thriller") The video for the song "Thriller" was important in the history of the music industry. Michael Jackson understood the power of these videos in bringing attention to his music and to his image. He worked hard to make exciting videos with complex stories and dances.

FAITH LAPIDUS: In nineteen eighty-five, Michael Jackson helped write the song "We Are the World." He recorded it with many other famous performers. The aim of the record was to raise money for starving people in Africa. The project raised millions of dollars with this best selling song.

Michael Jackson's next album, "Bad," produced five number one hits, including "The Way You Make Me Feel."

BOB DOUGHTY: Michael Jackson was a huge success, but he was also a very troubled man. His behavior and appearance became increasingly strange. He had many operations to change his face.

He acted and spoke in a childlike way. Jackson bought a huge property in California which he called "Neverland" after the children's story of Peter Pan. He had amusement park rides, a zoo and a large movie theater built for his home. Michael Jackson also went into major debt. And he suffered from injuries and illness that reportedly led him to take many kinds of pain-killing medicines. FAITH LAPIDUS: In nineteen ninety-three, a thirteen-year-old boy accused him of sexual abuse. The child molestation case was settled out of court with Jackson reportedly paying the boy millions of dollars.

But ten years later, a similar accusation by another boy led to a criminal trial which began in two thousand five. A jury cleared Jackson of all charges. He called the trial the hardest thing he had ever done in his life.

During this time, Michael Jackson kept recording and performing music. His later albums include "Dangerous", "HIStory" and "Invincible."

BOB DOUGHTY: Michael Jackson was briefly married to Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of musician Elvis Presley. He later married a nurse named Deborah Rowe. They had two children, Michael Joseph Jackson and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. The couple divorced in nineteen ninety-nine. Mr. Jackson later had a third child, Prince Michael Jackson.

FAITH LAPIDUS: After his two thousand five trial, the singer spent much of his time in Europe and the Middle East. He returned to the United States with the aim of planning what was to be a victorious comeback. Michael Jackson died on June twenty-fifth, two thousand nine of heart failure. He was just days away from launching a series of fifty concerts in London.

BOB DOUGHTY: Fans around the world mourned his death. Prisoners in a jail in the Philippines danced for him. Fans in Paris, France attended a service at the city's ancient religious center in his honor. Famous performers around the world told about the influence he had on their work. Michael Jackson left a huge mark on popular culture. His memory will live on in his unforgettable music.

Infinite (Korean: 인피니트, Japanese: インフィニット; stylized as INFINITE) is a seven member South Korean pop boy group under Woollim Entertainment, which is also home to other talents such as Epik High and Nell. The group consists of 7 members: Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong. The group is known for their highly synchronized dancing as well as the 'Scorpion Dance' in their "Before The Dawn" MV. With 2011 being their breakout year, Infinite continues to become successful and gain more popularity amongst other idol groups in both South Korea and Japan.

2010: First Invasion

In 2010, Infinite first appeared in the reality show "You Are My Oppa" introducing the group before making their debut in June (9th). They performed songs from their first EP First Invasion with the singles "Come Back Again" and "She's Back"^[1]

2011: Evolution, Over the Top, and Japanese debut

On January 7, 2011, the band debuted the single Before the Dawn (BTD) from their second EP Evolution. Promotions for BTD (Before the Dawn) ended on the February 17, 2011 on Inkigayo where Infinite performed a remix version of the song. The MV teaser for their next title song Nothing's Over, off their first single album Inspirit, was released on March 7, 2011. The full version was later released on March 16, 2011 ahead of their comeback stage on M! Countdown on March 17, 2011 where they performed both Nothing's Over and part of Shot. Infinite then continued promotions with their follow-up track Can U Smile on May 12 on Mnet’s "M! Countdown".
Their first album Over The Top was released on July 21, 2011 together with the MV of their title track Be Mine (내꺼하자). The MV teaser of their title track was first released on their official website at midnight of July 15 followed by an album preview on the 20th. The group then had their comeback on July 23, 2011 on Music Core. They received their First Music Show #1 Award in M! Countdown on September 1, 2011. They've received a "Double Crown" for winning two consecutive #1 wins at M! Countdown. Infinite re-release their First Album "Over the Top" as a Repackaged Album. This repackaged album was titled "Paradise". Paradise released on September 26, 2011. Woollim Entertainment revealed the music video teaser of Paradise, the repackaged album's promotional track on September 22, 2011. On 9th of October, Infinite came first on Inkigayo for Paradise. Infinite then won their second trophy with Paradise on October 13 on M! Countdown.

In November 2011, INFINITE participated in "Birth of a Family" where they had to take care of three dogs.^[2]
Infinite unofficially debuted in Japan with their first Japanese single To-Ra-Wa^[3] on January 26, 2011. Immediately after its release, their Evolution album hit #3 on real-time charts for sales in Korea.^[4] The song topped to #1 for ringtones on the daily charts of the K-POP section of Japan’s top mobile website. Infinite released various rental singles song including "She's Back", "BTD (Before The Dawn)", and "Nothing's Over" before they officially debuted in Japan. Infinite made their official debut with the Japanese version of BTD. BTD was released on November 19, 2011. The single was released in three versions, a CD+Photobook including a 40-page photobook, CD+DVD that includes their first Japanese showcase at Zepp Tokyo on July 21, 2011 as well as "BTD"'s music video and making-of, and regular edition. All editions comes with a random (1 out of 7) trading cards. The B-side for the single is "Can U Smile", a remake from their 2nd Mini Album EVOLUTION found at their 1st Single Album "Inspirit", track #3.
On December 2011, they released their first Christmas song "White Confession (Lately)". It was released digitally.

2012: Touring, individual activities and comeback

Infinite performed their very first Korean concert ^[5] in front of approximately 8,000 fans on February 11–12 at the Seoul Olympic Park in Songpa District, eastern Seoul. The concert was titled Second Invasion, following after the band's debut album, First Invasion. The tickets for the concert sold out within 10 minutes after being released online on December 14. A teaser for the concert was released.^[6]
Dongwoo was featured on Baby Soul/Yoo Jia's new single "She's a Flirt" released on the 18th of January.^[7]
L was cast in for the tvN TV drama "Shut Up Flower Boy Band" which started airing on the 30th of January.^[8]
Sunggyu and Woohyun made their musical debuts in "Gwanghwamun Sonata" on the 7th of February to the 11th of March at the LG Arts Center.^[9]
On April 1, an encore performance of Infinite's first concert "Second Invasion" was held, once again at the Seoul Olympic Park. The performance was titled "Second Invasion - Evolution". Ticket sales for the concert began on February 28, and instantly sold out all 10 000 seats.^[10]
The encore performance also obtained a partnership with Youtube to broadcast parts of it live worldwide. Infinite is now the first K-pop group to ever live stream a concert through Youtube.^[11]
"Be Mine" was remade to serve as their 2nd Japanese Single. It was released on April 18th 2012 with fourth versions, a CD+DVD limited edition ("SOLID VERSION"), two CD Only limited editions ("POP ART VERSION"/"INNOCENT VERSION"), and a regular CD Only edition. All the limited editions include a different packaging design and 9 photocards (of a total of 15 types). The title track is a Japanese version of their song "Naekkeohaja", which was the lead track for their Over the Top album. The single also includes the introduction track of the album, and a Japanese version of "Julia". Be Mine peaked at #2 both in Oricon Daily and Weekly Charts.^[12] Total reported sales amount to 54,218 copies.
Infinite made their comeback with their 3rd Mini Album "INFINITIZE" with the title track "The Chaser". Before the official release, they released a prologue single "Only Tears" on May 07, 2012.
Infinite was awarded a "Triple Crown" for winning #1 in a week at all Music Programs.

Koleksi wallpaper SNSD (Girl's generation) girlband Korea | profile SNSD --Girls' Generation adalah grup penyanyi perempuan asal Korea Selatan yang dibentuk oleh SM Entertainment pada tahun 2007. Mereka terdiri dari sembilan anggota: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny,Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, dan Seohyun.

Penggemar sering menyebut mereka sebagai SNSD, singkatan dari nama grup ini dalam bahasa Korea, "So Nyeo Shi Dae". Klub penggemar resmi Girls' Generation bernama S♡NE (소원) yang diambil dari judul lagu dalam album pertama mereka.

Grup ini sudah merilis tiga album studio dan tiga album mini di Korea, satu album studio di Jepang serta berbagai macam singel. Singel hits mereka pada tahun 2009, "Gee" menduduki posisi no. 1 di tangga lagu program musik Music Bank di KBS selama sembilan minggu berturut-turut, menjadikannya pemegang rekor sebagai lagu yang paling lama berada di posisi no. 1 tangga lagu tersebut. Mereka juga memenangi berbagai macam penghargaan pada tahun 2009 dan 2010, termasuk penghargaan Artis of The Year (Daesang) di Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, dan Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards.

Girls' Generation memulai debutnya di kancah musik Jepang pada tahun 2010 di bawah naungan label Nayutawave Records, bagian dari Universal Music, dengan merilis versi bahasa Jepang dari lagu hits mereka "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" dan "Gee".
